St Philip Howard is a very successful and over-subscribed 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation. In a latest OFSTED inspection (April 2016), the school was judged to be an ´Outstanding´ school in all categories! The school has a family atmosphere and supportive ethos. Barnham is a village with rail links to Arundel, Chichester, Bognor Regis and beyond.

• In 2019 86% of our Year 11 students attained 4+ (80% including English and Maths).
• Progress 8 of 0.55 placed the school in the Top 10% in the country.
• In 2019 Sixth Form students achieved 52% A*-B and 100% pass rate at A Level.
• We were rated as ´Outstanding´ in all categories by Ofsted in April 2016.

Cover Supervisor & Assessment Invigilator

37 hrs per week, term time only + inset days

Grade 4 £18,795 per annum, pro rata (£15,975.75 actual)

St Philip Howard Catholic School is currently seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor who, with support and training, is able to confidently cover lessons left by an absent teacher and supervise the administration of assessments. The behaviour of our students is outstanding which makes this role particularly rewarding. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Governors are looking to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and talented Teacher of Business Studies to develop and deliver the KS4 & KS5 courses and to be part of a great team. Salary WSCC Grade 4, point 5 £18,795 pro rata, equating to £13,715.27 per annum 8.30am - 4.00pm Monday Friday



We are looking to appoint an individual with a genuine passion for working with students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Our Learning Support Assistants work with young people in the classroom, in small groups and one to one interventions.
