St Philip Howard is a very successful and over-subscribed 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation. In a latest OFSTED inspection (April 2016), the school was judged to be an ´Outstanding´ school in all categories! The school has a family atmosphere and supportive ethos. Barnham is a village with rail links to Arundel, Chichester, Bognor Regis and beyond.

• In 2019 86% of our Year 11 students attained 4+ (80% including English and Maths).
• Progress 8 of 0.55 placed the school in the Top 10% in the country.
• In 2019 Sixth Form students achieved 52% A*-B and 100% pass rate at A Level.
• We were rated as ´Outstanding´ in all categories by Ofsted in April 2016.

Three days per week (must include Friday), term time only

Salary WSCC Grade 5, point 7 (£9,659.11 actual, per annum)

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Inclusion Secretary to support our busy and friendly Special Educational Needs team. The successful candidate will work alongside our Inclusion Secretary, providing administrative and organisational support.

We are seeking applications from candidates with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills who understand the responsibility of confidentiality. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail. Applicants must be able to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet conflicting demands and deadlines. Experience of working with Microsoft packages would be essential.
