St Philip Howard is a very successful and over-subscribed 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation. In a latest OFSTED inspection (April 2016), the school was judged to be an ´Outstanding´ school in all categories! The school has a family atmosphere and supportive ethos. Barnham is a village with rail links to Arundel, Chichester, Bognor Regis and beyond.

• In 2017 85% of our Year 11 students attained 5+ A*-C (79% including English and Maths).
• RAISE progress measures place school in Top 5% nationally.
• In 2017 Sixth Form students achieved 44% A*-B and 78% A*-C.

PE Technician And Cover Supervisor  »

Full-time, term time only + five inset days

Salary WSCC Grade 4 (point 14) £17,681 per annum pro rata, equating to £15,028.85 per annum actual

8.30am - 4.30pm Monday Friday

We are looking to appoint a PE Technician / Cover Supervisor who is able to confidently supervise students completing work left by an absent teacher. The successful candidate will also be working closely with the PE department, initiating and supervising after school clubs. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

TEACHING ASSISTANT (32.5hrs, term time only)

Salary WSCC Grade 4 (point 14) £17,681 pro rata, equating to £12,902.35 per annum

8.30am - 4.00pm Monday Friday

We are looking to appoint an individual with a genuine passion for working with children. You will be assisting students with learning difficulties in the classroom and possibly in small groups. An ability to support students in maths and science is desirable.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated administrator to join our sixth form team. The successful candidate will need excellent secretarial and organisational skills and understand the responsibility of confidentiality. Applicants must have the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet conflicting demands and deadlines.
