St Philip Howard is a very successful and over-subscribed 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation. In a latest OFSTED inspection (April 2016), the school was judged to be an ´Outstanding´ school in all categories! The school has a family atmosphere and supportive ethos. Barnham is a village with rail links to Arundel, Chichester, Bognor Regis and beyond.

• In 2016 86% of our Year 11 students attained 5+ A*-C (80% including English and Maths).
• RAISE progress measures place school in Top 5% nationally.
• In 2016 Sixth Form students achieved 54% A*-B and 82% A*-C.
• ALPS measures place school in Top 10% nationally.

TEACHING ASSISTANT (full-time, term time only)

Salary WSCC Grade 4 (point 14) £16,481 pro rata (£12,026.68 per annum) 8.30am - 4.00pm Monday Friday

We are looking to appoint an individual with a genuine passion for working with children. You will be assisting students with learning difficulties in the classroom and possibly in small groups. An ability to support students in maths and science is desirable.
