Volunteer Reader/Scribes Needed for GCSEs and A-level Exams

Can you please help? We are looking for volunteers willing to be readers and scribes to help our Y11 and Y12/13 students during their GCSE and A-level exams held in May and June 2017. This will involve listening to students who may speak very quietly, so good hearing, good spelling, good handwriting and patience will be required.

The main exam period starts on Monday 15 May and finishes in mid-June. Most exams start at 9am or 1.25pm, and last between 1 hour 15 minutes and up to 2 hours 50 minutes. A current DBS check will be required, which the school will arrange and pay for.

If you think you might be able to help, or require further information about exam dates, please contact Mrs Grunwell or Mrs Norris on telephone 01243 552055 or email bgrunwell@sphcs.co.uk or wnorris@sphcs.co.uk. Thank you.
